Alexis is the Community Engagement Manager at TechFW and directs the personal and digital representation of TechFW throughout its communities. She loves technology and thrives on the excitement and energy of the startup ecosystem. An entrepreneur herself, Alexis runs a software startup called Estimake, a platform that powers omni-channel retailers to create dynamic, shoppable content to drive e-commerce sales, build a brand community, and engage with customers.
Alexis has been involved with building the Fort Worth startup ecosystem the past few years. She started Fort Worth Open Coffee Club, a weekly meetup where technology enthusiasts get together to talk about the latest tech news. She also played a lead role in organizing the last two Startup Weekend Fort Worth, a 54-hour hackathon where teams turn ideas into products.
Alexis received a Bachelor of Business Administration (Management) from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2010 and a Masters of Business Administration from Texas Christian University’s M.J. Neeley School of Business in 2013.
