Product Spotlight: eGrips
eGrips Technologies has developed a proprietary material that provides unique gripping properties. Initially the material was created for keeping cellphones from slipping and sliding out of one’s hand, off the dash, or out of one’s pocket or purse. It is sold as egrips® appliqués and Phone Tredz® at Cingular and CompUSA, and at other independent retailers as well as www.egrips.com . It is also exported to Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Mexico, Canada, Russia, New Zealand, Australia, and is being launched all over Europe.
egrips® Technology® material is also being used as Mini Non-Slip strips for the promotional products industry (www.egrips.com/adspec) and as Tank Tredz for road and track motorcycle racing.
Other opportunities for commercialization are currently being developed in the areas of healthcare, marine, household, hardware, sporting goods, and computer related applications.
