OWLS tackles wellness issues at work using technology
BY ELIZABETH BASSETT
A lot has been made of company wellness programs, but without a culture of open communication and mutual respect and support, the programs aren’t going to lead to better health.
That’s the idea behind Organizational Wellness and Learning Systems (OWLS), a company founded several years ago on several decades’ worth of research on workplace relationships and leadership.
OWLS recently earned two grants from the National Institutes of Health, totaling $400,000, toward developing e-health wellness products that would help company leaders gauge the wellness of a business and learn to shape it for the better.
